Bolest nije homoseksualnost, vec neznanje i primitivizam. Uopšte me ne iznenadjuju komentari vaših ?italaca. Verujem da ve?ina tako misli. Zbog njih sam sre?an što nisam u Srbiji. ?ak lakše u?im maternji jezik moje žene. Dobro ?u razmisliti dali ?e naša deca u?iti srpski, ako je to jezik mržnje.

Back to “Uberman”

June 30th, 2009

I find myself in a situation where I am always at home, working over the internet, overloaded with new stuff to learn, advanced stuff to try and I still haven’t finished adaptation of the apartment. It is perfect time to switch to a poly-phasic sleep pattern. “Uberman” is my first choice cause it seems less stressful, although it is also less adaptive. It takes only 2 hours of sleep a day in packages of 20 minutes every 4 hours.
Based on my previous experience the best way to do it is to combine it with fasting(grapefruit, lemon juice, water), pzziz energizer audio sessions, combat conditioning exercises, trataka meditation and long walks.
Fasting gives you more energy, you need to sleep less and it cleans your body from toxins.
Pzziz is the prefect audio session tool. You can choose exactly 20 minute session and a very suggestive voice guides you through your nap and wakes you up at the end. Every session is unique so you never get bored. Yoga Nidra audio session is also very good for this. Tim Rowe’s is the best.
Different exercises help you from oversleeping while adjusting.

Wireless sucks

Speedtest results

Speedtest results

This are the results from speedtest.net if I connect my computer directly to the router. If the connection is wireless it is 50% less in best case scenario. Usually it is around 2.5Mb/s and according to my provider it should be 20Mb/s.

We’re switching to cables.

What is the fastest way of eliminating a disease?

Change the guidelines/criteria for reporting an occurrence of the disease, so it cannot meet the requirements. WHO rocks!

Kosovo diary

Also a site I developed with Flash while working for Omnicom. SEO-ptimized and backed by OCP2.0 as CMS.

It features interesting “zoom video” functionality, typewritter effect with easing, appearing blur animations…

Living in Rotterdam – What’s good and what’s bad… so far…

June 22nd, 2009
Rotterdam

Rotterdam

The good stuff:

  • It’s a heaven for bicycles. You can get everywhere on a bike and not be threatened  by other vehicles. Lots of parking spaces. Almost no hills (only suspension bridges).
  • The days are longer so in the summer you can still catch some healing sun rays when coming late from work.
  • The summers are colder so you don’t have to wear T-shirts all the time and still sweat like a pig.
  • People are very tolerant and almost all of them speak English.
  • Very colorful mixture of races and nationalities.
  • High percentage of spank-able female asses among all races.
  • Freedom of choice is on the highest level in all universe(talking about prostitution, substance consumption and vaccination).

The bad stuff:

  • Way to much “in-your-face” Islam. You don’t even notice any other religions apart from old catholic/protestant churches.
  • Houses resemble too much. Red bricks are everywhere and it’s easy to get lost.
  • Straight people are not welcome at gay parties.
  • Language is pretty weird(although it becomes rather interesting when you learn it).

This was my first ActionScript 3 site. Also my first commercial Papervision3D application.  The power of AS3 made it possible for it to be a <500 lines of code site, not counting third party libraries.

Corax is an artistic name for very famous serbian caricaturist. When Omnicom created a website for daily newspaper “Danas”, I got a task to create a calendar gallery. The gallery shows a calendar view of caricatures for every daily edition.

Mustardpancakes finally online

Mustard pancakes

Mustard pancakes

I just noticed today, that the new version of mustardpancakes.com site is finally online. It has been done a long time ago but was accessible only through a subdomain. I did the flash development while working fulltime for Omnicom, Belgrade.

Site is done with flash but is SEO-ptimized. Initially the effects on pages were far cooler then now but, as usual, client had a different opinion :( . All the content is filled through Omnicom’s OCP2.0 cms.

Baking soda experiment

June 21st, 2009

Baking soda is a very versatile compound that can make your life cheaper and easier.  I have found many uses on the internet, but this is what I know to be true:

Baking soda

Baking soda

  1. It is the best deodorant. It’s far more powerful then any other product on the market. After you shower, just put some powder on your hand, add some water, apply on your armpits and that’s it. If you apply it right it can last more then 24 hours. No more aluminium cancer/parkinson causing salts.
  2. If you suffer from seborrheic dermatitis, as I do, and you experience itching in the spinal area on your back, solution of baking soda might solve the problem completely. It did not help on facial area, but I’m still working on that.
  3. If you experience a very unpleasant feeling in your teeth after eating too much junk food or just too many sweets, washing your teeth with baking soda might bring a quick relief.
  4. Same goes for your stomach. Just dilute a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water.
  5. Washing the grease is much easier with baking soda. Be aware if its not diluted it might scratch the surface of your cookware.
  6. Adding baking soda into the final process of laundry washing will significantly reduce the possibility of moldy smell and make laundry more mold resistant (especially if baking soda was not completely washed out).
  7. Making bread with baking soda makes it last longer and mold resistant.
